The Use of the "System Method of Leech Therapy" in Severe Transport Trauma, Pelvic Bone Fractures and Subarochnoid Hemorrhage (Clinical Case)

Abstract
The article describes the treatment of an 83-year-old woman who received a severe craniocerebral injury,
with multiple bone fractures, as a result of a traffic accident (RTA) - she was hit by a car while crossing
the street. Considering the severity of the victim's disease and the pessimistic prognosis, after 8 days in
the hospital - the Central District Hospital (CDH), the patient was discharged for home treatment at the
insistence of her daughter. As a result of the complex treatment, in which the leading role was played by
the "System Method of Leech Therapy", after 11 months of treatment from the date of the accident, the
patient was able to walk and take care of herself independently.
